Grassroots

The Grass Roots Garden Scheme provides people with a learning disability with training on gardening and grass cutting around Darlington. The training helps people reach their full potential and where possible, progress into employment.
Grassroots also provides training in workshop practice and general woodwork and makes bird boxes and wooden ornaments which the public can buy.
Everyone who trains with grassroots can work towards an OCNNER accredited qualification in the areas of grounds maintenance and workshop practice.
