The Learning Disability People's Parliament had their first meeting on 27 November.
There was fantastic interest from everyone who was there.
They all see the group as having a real voice for making changes for people with a learning disability in Darlington.
People said what things interested them.
Everyone then voted on who they wanted to represent them in that area.
After several rounds of voting, the Ministers for each area were elected.
