What Does The Learning Impairment Network Do?

Darlington's Learning Impairment Network was set up in response to the Government's "Valuing People" and "Valuing People Now" plans.

Government

The Network is made up of experts by experience, service and support providers, the Council, the NHS and other stakeholders.

Meeting

The role of the Learning Impairment Network is to make sure the proposals in "Valuing People Now" happen and the quality of life for people with a learning disability living in Darlington continues to improve and to make sure that "Transforming Care" happens in Darlington.
